REVIEW:

This book is a collection of poetry. These poems come from the depths of my heart. I've learned to express what I feel through poetry. I want those who love poetry, to read what I have written and be able to relate with it in their own way. Now I've written of our country and some of happiness, or anger, and of sadness. I hope that this book will encourage all to write and find a way to express their emotions through writing. I hope to bring a lot of inspiration to all who read and write poetry, and also those who don’t write. Please enjoy these poems and take them to your hearts as I hope you will.

It Seems To Be Easier

It seems to be easier
To feel for you
When everyone else is gone
Why is my life this way?
It seems to be easier
To say I love you
When you are never near
Why is my heart breaking?
It seems to be easier
To hurt on the inside
When my happiness fades away
Why is this always easier?

Listen to the Rain

This rainy night brings me sorrow
Harder and Harder the rain falls
I look outside and think of you
The rain reminds me of my hurt

So much sadness you can see through rain
It speaks without any needed words
And listens to my deepest thoughts
Only the rain can't tell you how I feel
Can't tell you my deepest thoughts
This is the fear I have to be without you
And to tell you how I feel
One thing I can't seem to do

So please for me listen to the rain
As it falls with sadness to the ground
It tells you what I can't seem to
It tells you that I love you

Deepest Emotions

Useless emotions
Fill my heart
And fill my mind
There's no reason
To express what I feel
It won't change
How things are
There's no reason
For me to complain
I did this to myself alone

No reason
For me to blame you
I only hold dreams
In my heart
Of the chance
To be with you
These are just words
You'll never know
My deepest emotions
That I've always loved you
