Garcia lives in northwestern Montana alongside the Rocky Mountain Front with his wife and two young children. Once called The Axe, Garcia gave up a logging and milling operation in New Mexico to writing for Life Times, a national magazine he founded and published in tile 80's. He is the author of The Adventures of Travis & Muldoon, about two modern men trail riding the Santa Fe Trail into the past (to be published by Augusta Wind Press), the six volume series A Thousand Short Stories and More, and the movie scripts The Edge, Harry’s World, and Wings of Charlie.
