Without Arms examines life in a small rural town after a national gun ban has been placed in effect. The weapons have fallen into the hands of criminals and innocent citizens can no longer defend themselves. A farmer is unable to protect his chickens from a fox that is stealing them-and his livelihood. Rabid animals are also on the loose. Purse snatchings, bank robberies, and beatings are common occurrences.
When a gang of armed thugs takes over the defenseless town, even firing on a church during services, the sheriff must find a way to save the town's citizens-and his girlfriend, who has been kidnapped by one of the gangs.
Without Arms argues an issue that is prevalent in today's political arena against a backdrop of realistic examples of the consequences of a national gun ban. The plight of the characters is thoroughly entertaining and informative.
