It's really old and..." He leaned closer. "It can heal."

happened to the icon?"
"No
one knows exactly. Some German papers were found that talked about the icon.
According to my dad, most historians think the Nazis discovered where she hid it
and sent it to Berlin, but after the war ended, it was never found."
"You
mean, it just disappeared?"
"My dad thinks it's still on the island."
