In 1996, Bill completed a 64 hour education program at Marywood College to secure a Certificate of Management in Non-Profit Organizations. He also completed the requirements to receive the title Certified Valuation Analyst.

Bill is a registered Quick Books Advisor and he is expected to become a Certified Quick Books Advisor before year's end. He has worked with many different kinds of software and was trained in COBOL and FORTRAN computer programming. Businesses and individuals he serves come from many places and include many industries and occupations.
William McAllister has been licensed to practice public accounting in Pennsylvania and Illinois for almost twenty years. Over the years he has served the community, from behind the scenes, in many ways. Some of the organizations he has served are: Honesdale High School Vo-Tech Advisory Board, Wayne County Children and Youth Services, the Wayne County YMCA, the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, the Honesdale Volunteer Ambulance Corp, the Northern Wayne Community Library, Wayne County Library, the Borough of Honesdale, United States Board on Books for Young People, and Habitat for Humanity, just to name a few.
Bill had a significant role in creating and developing the Wayne County Community Foundation and currently serves as Treasurer for that organization. He also served as Treasurer for the Honesdale Rotary Club for thirteen years and is a Paul Harris Fellow. Bill is Chairman of the Committee on Communication with the Bar for the Northeastern Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
As a member of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Estate Planning Council, he participates in many interesting meetings. In November of 1999, Bill went to a twenty four hour training program in auditing and accounting in Harrisburg. Bill enjoys the continuing education classes and is, or has been, a faculty member of various colleges and learning institutions in Northeastern Pennsylvania. He has been on radio, authored articles, and lectured extensively throughout his career.
